Space

UrPlace Augusta, Suite C is a 1,300 SF, six room, 2nd floor walk up, 2 BR 1 FULL BATH apartment with ample off-street, well-lit parking and private front and rear entrance. Bedroom 1 has a king bed and Bedroom 2 has a queen bed. Both bedrooms feature ornamental fireplaces and ample closets. The bath room is complete with original claw foot tub and shower. The modern, galley style kitchen is equipped with dishes, cutlery, microwave, dishwasher, disposal, Keurig coffee maker, walk-in pantry and original built-in china cabinet. Just off the Kitchen is a large, well-appointed Dining Room that comfortably seats ten people! The spacious, screened, front porch is a great place to relax with a glass of wine while enjoying the view of the quaint, historic homes on the tree-lined street below.

Transit

The famed Augusta National Golf Course is a mere 2.5 miles away and can be accessed without having to navigate Washington Road, which is heavily trafficked during the Masters tournament. You can also easily walk to nearby, highly-acclaimed, local restaurants and bars only blocks away. Our favorites are Sheehan’s Irish Pub, Arsenal Tap Room, Indian Queen Bar, Beck’s and Midtown Tavern. Surrey Center with more restaurants and great shops is minutes away by car as well. Or you can head downtown to enjoy the nightlife that is just minutes away by car, Uber or Lyft!

Notes

UrPlace August, Suite C is located just 2.5 miles from the world- famous, Augusta National, home of The Masters golf tournament. It is also minutes away from Augusta University, Medical College of Georgia, University Hospital, Fort Gordon and Daniel Field city airport. Nearby Monte Sano Avenue, Surrey Center and Daniel Village provide specialty shopping, restaurants, beauty salons, nail salons, package shops, groceries, banks and pharmacies.
The location is also convenient to main access thoroughfares and the city bus line is just beyond the front door. Uber and Lyft also serve the Summerville area.

Neighborhood

Summerville, a prominent neighborhood in the heart of Augusta, has within walking distance historic mansions, playgrounds, churches, shops, restaurants/bars and Augusta University (AU). 4 mi away is the downtown area, home to the Georgia Cyber Center and a vibrant restaurant, nightlife, shopping, art and music scene. The renowned Medical College of Georgia located on AU’s health sciences campus is 2.5 mi away. Just 2.5 mi away is The Augusta National Golf Club, home of the Masters Golf Tournament.

Access

SUITE C is quiet and private and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable: large beds, nice linens, desk area and smart HDTV for accessing Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, etc.

House Rules

Please be kind and respectful to my neighbors and to my home. Treat it the way you would want me to treat your home.

Pet dogs are allowed with advance notice. (Due to allergies of the host and guests, other pets are not allowed.) Please give size and breed of dog and acknowledge willingness to pay pet fee: $25/night per pet and to follow pet rules:
Pets must be house broken and crate trained.
No pets on beds or furniture.
No pets to be left unattended.
No using kitchen bowls or towels for pet.
Clean up after your pet, use potty bags and place in exterior garbage can.
Remove any pet hair left behind by your pet.
Follow these rules and I will mention your pet favorably in your review!

Remove decorative pillows and pillow shams from beds when sleeping. Extra sleeping pillows are kept in the bedroom closet if needed. If damage is caused to these items because this rule is not followed, costs to dry clean or replace will be incurred.

Please observe quiet time from 10pm to 7am. No parties or events allowed.
Commercial use of the space, in particular photography, is NOT allowed without prior written consent from the host. Fee for commercial use of the space is $75 per hour and will be charged as an extra expense if guest is found violating this house rule during or after stay. This includes “girl trips” hosted by photographers in my home.

Smoking or vaping is not allowed inside or outside on the property. Also, do not burn candles, mine or yours, in the apartment. The ones provided are for decorative use only.

No overnight visitors allowed other than those on reservation. No commercial clients (this includes photography) allowed without permission from host.

Always keep doors and windows locked when leaving the apartment.

Fold bed comforters down to foot of bed when sleeping. Use the blankets provided if extra warmth is needed. If soiling or damage occurs to these items because this rule is not followed, costs to dry clean or replace will be incurred.

Please do not launder any bed, bath or kitchen linens. I’m happy to provide clean linens when needed and prefer to wash my own linens.

Please do not burn any candles, mine or yours, in the apartment. The ones provided are for decorative use only.
